What is The Align?

The Align is a compact angle-monitoring device that fits onto a dental handpiece and reports its working angle in real time. It is made for dentists and dental students who want to hold a chosen angle consistently.

You set a deviation limit from 5° to 20°, in 1° steps. When your hand drifts past that limit, The Align tells you — on its LCD screen, through an LED indicator, or with an audible alert.

The device charges over USB Type-C and fits across dental handpieces, so you do not change instruments to use it. It is a training and guidance aid: it does not diagnose, treat, or replace clinical judgement.

The Align is designed and made in Egypt. The first demo batch is limited to 20 units at EGP 3,999, down from a list price of EGP 7,500, paid cash on delivery.

01 · The reason

The angle looks right. But is it the same?

Handpiece angle can be difficult to judge and even harder to repeat. The Align gives you a simple reference you can follow while learning or working. The difficulty is not seeing the angle once. It is holding the same angle through a long procedure, and knowing whether today's angle matches yesterday's. Wrist and forearm position drift as you tire, and the change is usually too gradual to notice from the inside. For example, a preparation that begins at the angle you intended can finish several degrees away without any single moment where it felt wrong. The Align reports the angle continuously and tells you the moment it passes the limit you set.

A short walkthrough: fitting the device, reading the angle during work on a phantom head, and what the display shows you while you adjust. The clip runs 2 minutes 40 seconds and is chaptered: it opens in the clinic, shows how the device helps during a preparation at 0:44, covers unboxing at 2:02, and ends with fitting the handpiece at 2:20. What you watch in practice is the display: it shows the current angle and how far it has drifted from the limit you set.

03 · Made for dentistry

Small device. Easy to follow.

The Align sits on the handpiece and gives you a clear angle reference, so you can focus on the tooth and your technique. In practice the whole device is one small unit with a single button. It runs on a rechargeable battery and charges over USB Type-C, so there is no dock or base station to find room for. The LCD screen shows the current angle, while the LED and the sound alert cover the moments when you cannot look at a screen. You select the deviation limit from 5° to 20°, in 1° steps, with the same button. It fits any dental handpiece, so nothing else about your setup changes.

04 · Confidence you can see

A clearer angle. A more confident hand.

The Align gives you an immediate reference you can follow while practising or working, reported continuously rather than only at the end of a movement.

You decide how tight the tolerance is. A 5° limit flags small drift; a 20° limit warns only on a large change. For example, a student rehearsing a preparation might begin at 15° and tighten toward 5° as the movement becomes reliable. The Align has undergone internal engineering testing during product development. Quantitative validation results will be published once the methodology and data are ready for public review.

05 · Batch status

You are reserving a place in a production run.

The Align is made in batches. When you reserve, your device is built as part of the run below rather than shipped from a warehouse shelf. The count below is not a marketing figure. We read it from the order system, so it moves as reservations come in and it stops when the run is full. For example, if the batch closes before your call, the page says so rather than continuing to take orders.
